Her Hip in Sport

Female athletes aren’t just smaller versions of male athletes — but most training, rehab, rehab, injury prevention, and management strategies are still based on research based on men data. This is especially true for the pelvis and hip, where women’s anatomy, function, and biomechanics are different, particularly due to childbearing potential.

We’re learning more every day with more and more data emerging - but right now, we’re not doing a great job of applying this knowledge in clinical and training settings.

Women deserve better.

That’s where Her Hip in Sport project comes in. The aim of the project is to bridge this gap by providing evidence-based, female-specific insights that can be put into practice—so we can better support women in sport.
