Biomechanical screen

Although the general blueprint of our how our bodies work is the same, there are differences in how they are build, their exact shapes, their strongest areas and challenges they have. Our bodies have their own unique ways of movement and positioning against gravity, which are the combination of the anatomy and our lifestyle - what sports and movement we do/have done in the past, what type of work we do etc.

Biomechanics is a science of how the body moves, what forces are going through the body, and where the loading of the body is located. Understanding how the body works and how to use this knowledge with a patient is not easy as the body also has great adaptive forces - and It is very important to remember that not all the potential areas of challenge will turn into injuries in the future!

Biomechanical screen allows to understand how your own body works, discover it strengths and areas where it may have some challenges. During out appointment, I will have an initial conversation with you, mainly about your current and past physical activity, and any injuries that you may have. Then I will ask you to do a series of movements and I will perform some functional and clinical movements. After this assessment, I will discuss my findings with you, and I will give you some recommendations that you may use in your future training.
